Rina Lindenmayer

Rina Lindenmayer graduated SUA in 2019 with a Humanities concentration, focusing on Art and Literature. They developed their interest in art as a young elementary schooler, and has since continued to nurture their passion throughout their life. Rina currently works full time at a secondhand bookstore local to their hometown of Gaithersburg, Maryland while furiously making art in their spare time. Along with comics, they enjoy exploring other art forms including illustration and character design. Amid the chaos of 2020, they have been keeping themselves busy through work as well as baking, gardening, reading, and a heaping pile of introspection. Their comic for the exhibit is just a small piece of what has been going through their mind. Rina hopes that their readers will find comfort in the shared (and necessary) discomfort that has been brought forth by the many events of this year.
